EXSIGHT VENTURES OPENS ANGELLIST SYNDICATE TO THE OIS COMMUNITY
ANGELLIST HOSTED SYNDICATE WILL PROVIDE START-UP ACCESS TO THE OIS COMMUNITY
We are excited to share our AngelList Syndicate with the OIS Community. AngelList is a platform site that enables accredited investors to invest in companies and funds. Syndicates “are single-deal VC funds created to invest in a specific startup.” AngelList Syndicates allow investors “to invest deal-by-deal in specific companies.” AngelList provides a digital platform that will enable ExSight Ventures to share select opportunities with the OIS network. The platform delivers an efficient solution for us to offer and administer co-investment opportunities.
ExSight was founded, in part, by Drs. Nissen's and Rahhal's desire to fund innovation that would help them better treat patients. Our investment strategy targets the most promising early-stage ophthalmology companies. These prospective investments include innovative companies that span sectors including therapeutics, diagnostics, and devices. ExSight is happy to be able to offer select opportunities to other members of the OIS Community that similarly want to invest in ophthalmic innovation.
